Joe

Joe is a very cheerful and genuine guy! Joe has lived at Welcome House for almost 1 year. Joe became paralyzed and blind after suffering mild brain damage caused by loss of blood after a tragic event that took place when he was 16 years old. Joe likes listening to sports, Howard Stern, old school rap, and wrestling. Joe also likes siting outside and going for walks. His family is very involved in his life, he goes to his brother’s house weekly, and his brother comes to visit him at home once a week and they watch wrestling together. Joe talks to his brother that lives out of town at least once a week. He also has a 21-year-old son that visits regularly. Despite his injury and disability, you will always see Joe smiling!
