Direct Care
Welcome House needs Direct Care staff with compassion and integrity to work with adults who have intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). The primary job responsibilities would be to assist our residents with daily living skills which include transportation, recreation, cooking, cleaning, laundry, and personal care. We have part-time weekend shifts available throughout the east and west side of Cuyahoga County. Full-time second and third shifts are limited and not always available. Please indicate on your application if you are interested in full-time. You will be contacted if there are any open full-time shifts. Starting pay is $8.00 per hour. Upon completion of new hire training requirements, the pay increases to $8.25-$8.50 per hour.
Position Requirements: Must be 18 years or older, a valid Ohio driver’s license w/ 4 points or less, auto insurance, HS diploma or GED, & ability to pass a criminal background check & drug screen.
