Welcome House plays an important role in the lives of individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). Welcome House exists to help people with IDD lead full and rewarding lives by providing a variety of residential services in an atmosphere of a caring community. Without Welcome House, over 130 adults would not have the opportunity to learn skills that most people take for granted.

Ken went from living in a group home with 24-hour supports to living in his own apartment where staff assistance is limited to banking, medical appointments, and community safety. He is a productive member of society. He works a job in the community. He pays taxes. Ken might not have succeeded if it were not for Welcome House.
