Parent Participation Project Manual

Planning for housing with a family member who has a disability can be complicated.

To help simplify the process Welcome House along with North Coast Community Homes and Share A Vision developed a guidebook. The Parent Participation Manual is written to help parents, family members, friends in Northeast Ohio plan for the housing needs of their loved ones with disabilities.

Topics include family-directed housing, individual planning, developing a consortium, support services, and setting up a home, as well as financial and legal guidance.
