Creates Heart

The 2007 Welcome House Creates HeArt Benefit held Thursday, October 18, 2007, at the La Centre Conference and Banquet Facility in Westlake, showcased the artwork created by our clients through the Art Therapy Program.

More than just a way to have fun, this program is a proven tool in helping individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) become more self-sufficient by providing them an alternate means of communication and a sense of accomplishment.

The evening featured a cash bar, silent auction and hors d’oeuvres with proceeds benefiting the individual artist and the Welcome House Art Therapy Program.
