Board Presidents' Annual Appeal

December 31, 2007

Dear Friends:

At this time of year, Welcome House focuses on what we do often, what we do daily and what we have done for over twenty-six years: address the ever changing and continuous needs of our clients. Gifts to our Annual Appeal are a tremendous resource in providing our clients with the help they need to meet those needs. These gifts, your "unrestricted" gifts, provide clients with the things we take for granted; with the things not otherwise provided for through government sources.

Gilbert and Jean cannot get by on one new pair of orthopedic shoes a year. Dorothy broke her glasses and is not approved for a replacement pair for another year. Sam lost his dentures, same thing! Liz wanted to go to camp but needed staff with her at all times. Gayle just wanted to take a trip like everyone else.

Welcome House assists over 130 clients with mental retardation and developmental disabilities each day through 10 group homes and a supported living program. They rely on us and we are relying on you. Your gift to the Welcome House Annual Appeal for 2007 will have a significant impact on the services we are able to provide our clients. Please send your gift today and be counted for this worthy cause since Gilbert really does need a new pair of shoes
