Funding

Welcome House provides valuable services to persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).

Much of our funding comes from federal, state, and county. However, these sources are limited in their scope and only cover the basics of care. Examples of non-covered items include replacement eyeglasses, adaptive equipment, and vehicles used for transportation. Your generous tax-deductible gifts directly benefit our clients.

Because many of our clients and their families are unable to afford extra services and programs, Welcome House has established The Bobbie Roberts Recreation/Leisure Fund to help with camp fees, recreation, and sporting events. Music and art therapy are funded through your tax-deductible gifts and special events. Rest assured that your gifts will be used for the purposes for which they were given.
